Mindfulness Therapy 50 plus

Due to its idealistic objectives, the Academy started a continuous Mindfulness course for people over 50 several years ago. We are now giving this course online via zoom.

Mindfulness means: 'attentiveness' or 'conscious attention'. It is an effective health method, whose origins lie in Buddhism.

The exercises are aimed at complete relaxation of body and mind, posture, healthy breathing and meditation.

The exercises also demonstrably promote physical and mental well-being. Mindfulness is especially an effective remedy for people who suffer from, for example, exhaustion, stress, insomnia, excessive fatigue, burn-out and/or processing problems.

All exercises are performed in a gentle manner and are therefore easy to follow for people over 50.

In a online lesson you will learn skills to deal more consciously with mental and physical complaints, to accept them, let them go and prevent them in the future.

The lessons are given on Wednesday mornings from 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

Please note: there are no lessons during the school holidays!
